Good, cheap, simple food. Stewed vitella with spaghetti was amazing. Service is typical of family restaurants so don't come if it's packed and you want a quick bite

This is a treasure for budget travelers in the over-touristy town of Aveiro! The restaurant was full of locals during the lunch time. The "menu do dia" includes soup, main dish and a coffee. It costs 7.5 if you prefer meat, and 8 for fish. The bread is not included, neither are the drinks and desert. Vinho da casa costs 3 for half a liter. They offer simple Portuguese dishes which are tasty and big. On the pictures: Vegetable soup, Robalo with vegetables, Prego no prato (beef).

Small restaurant with very good and plentiful typical food, very kind staff and low price (7 for the menu with soup, fish or meat and dessert). Advised!The environment is clean, quiet and nice.The only flaw is there is no menu in English but ask for the dish of the day or use a translator and there will be no problems.
